Below are 12 fun ideas I hope you will consider and utilize on your first or next date.
- Inform your date that you’ll both be doing some baking at her place or yours. Then from a recipe book containing 20 recipes, ask her to pick a number from one to twenty. Then proceed to impress her with your culinary skills or lack off.
- Compose a funny sketch involving a film you both love and ask her to act out the male part while you act the female part. This will reveal a softer side to you she knew nothing about and endear you more to her.
- Go to your local coffee shop and play a game of ‘Guess what they did last night’ with your date as people walk into the shop.
- Plan an early morning date and go for a walk in the park, making sure to arrive in sufficient time to capture the sun as it rises.
- Have a lunch time picnic with home-made sandwiches.
- Hire or borrow a bike (if you both don’t have one) and take a ride to a part of town you have never been to before.
- Go for a walk on the beach. To make it more romantic, you could go in the evening just as the sun is setting.
- Go to a free gospel concert at a church near where you live. If you’re not religious, all the better as it’ll definitely give you something to talk about at the end.
- Hire a DVD (or more) online or from your local library as they tend to have cheap deals. You can make an event out of it by having a theme night.
- Get board games and have a board game night.
- Go to a free local museum or Arts center in your area.
- Buy or borrow a Frisbee and go to a beach or park and have fun been young again. When you get tired, buy ice cream from a truck and enjoy the setting sun.
As you can see, you do not have to break the bank to have a good time on your date. A little creativity and thinking outside the box is all it takes.
